LegalTerms of Engagement.
The basis on which this site and this practice operate.
Draft for legal review. This page is written as a working template so the site is complete. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and must be checked against UK GDPR, the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the client's actual practices before launch. See the README.
By using this website you accept these terms. They apply to the site, to purchases from The Sacred Shop, and to enquiries made here.
Nature of the work
Coaching, somatic practice and shamanic healing offered by The Sacred Ibis are not medical, psychiatric or psychological treatment, and are not a substitute for any of them. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis or a promise of a particular outcome. Where something belongs with a clinician you will be told directly.
If you are currently under the care of a doctor or therapist, please continue that care and let Ruby know so the work can be held appropriately.
Sessions and programmes
Session fees, deposits, rescheduling notice and cancellation terms are set out in the client agreement you receive before any work begins. Those terms take precedence over anything written here.
The Transformation is offered by application. An application is not an offer of a place, and places are limited by design.
The Sacred Shop
Every piece is a natural object. Colour, veining, inclusion and dimensions vary, and the photographs are representative rather than exact. Descriptions of how to work with a piece are traditional and are not claims of physical or medical effect.
Delivery, returns and your statutory cancellation rights are set out under Shipping & Returns.
Intellectual property
All text, marks and imagery on this site belong to The Sacred Ibis or are licensed to it. Please do not reproduce them without permission.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session, programme or goods concerned.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
